Oracle Primavera P6®Oracle Primavera P6® is the leading software for project, resource, and portfolio management. The consultants at HSE Contractors are experts in using, implementing, and training every version of P6®. When you need help with Primavera, you can rely on us for technical support.
Our team has also demonstrated a history of expert proficiency in construction scheduling services and project controls using Primavera software. Our contractors have developed a deep knowledge of all Primavera software and in applying P6’s functionality appropriately to meet a variety of project requirements.
The use of Primavera (P6) is required by most government agencies for Baseline and regular Schedule Update submissions. HSE is able to meet and exceed the most stringent scheduling requirements by analyzing plans and specifications to make sound decisions on activity coding, resource loading and P6 settings in order to obtain approval, with minimal input from busy contractor superintendents and project managers so that they can focus on their core competencies.

Primavera Contract Management
Oracle’s Primavera Contract Management, Business Intelligence Publisher Edition is a document management, job cost, and field controls solution that keeps construction projects on schedule and on budget through complete project control.

Primavera Risk Analysis – Monte Carlo Method
Every activity that we do is subject to unsuspected events some of these upsetting events are not very severe and sometimes suspected and some of these impacts are not insignificant. If someone is bidding on doing some work in our very cost-driven society you will seldom or never win that job if you add a contingency for every item of work that you suspect will carry some level of risk. This is not to say that high-risk items should be ignored.
This is why we create what is called a risk register that forces you to brainstorm all the possible risk events that you can foresee and rate them based on various factors and estimate/calculate the level of risk, often stated as sensitivity. It is very important to come up with ways to deal with (or workaround) highly sensitive activities that are on your calculate driving critical path or near-critical paths, especially those that are near term.
The most popular and used method to find this information is Monte Carlo Analysis. Risk analysis software that uses this methodology will rerun your project many times using a random number generator to select activity durations within the parameters you set. The most common way that most people will ask you about project completion is using a percentage accuracy of your answer. This begs the question of what is the level of certainty of your completion estimate. The above graph answers this question.
Oracle Primavera Risk® allows full project lifecycle risk analysis, the solution can integrate cost and schedule risk assessments. Primavera Risk Analysis provides a comprehensive means of determining confidence levels for project success together with quick and easy techniques for determining the risk critical path, suggested contingency and risk response plans.
