Senior Scheduler

At HSE Contractors, we are always accepting applications for upcoming projects from qualified candidates. Your application, qualifications, relevance of scheduling expertise, and location will be evaluated as the position you are applying for becomes available at any of our office locations.

General functions:

  • Plan, coordinate, supervise and direct all planning and scheduling activities on the assigned portfolio.
  • Interface/maintain liaison with project management, client, subcontractors, etc. on all planning and scheduling related items and functions including reporting requirements, progress status, new impacts, etc.
  • Represent company and/or project in meetings with clients.
  • Ensure that corporate planning and schedule standards are implemented and that all project related activities comply.
  • May serve as staff specialist in the application of advanced theories, concepts, principles, and processes.
  • Performs additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.
  • Advises the Planning Director on all planning-related matters

Reporting methods:

  • Responsible to support development of the monthly reports and to perform schedule assessments as requested.
  • Identifies, analyzes and monitors schedule deviations for assigned disciplines or specialties including subcontractor submittals and recommends corrective action/work-around solutions for project considerations.
  • Develops and writes the schedule monthly progress and similar reports. Identifies and reports activities that have a critical or potential impact on the schedule and prepares and presents the Critical Items Action Report.
  • Review all the narrative reports prepared by other team members before issue to the client.

Communication style:

  • Clearly and efficiently communicate with the client using all the possible methods such as on-site presence, phone, Webex and emails.
  • Attend all the external phone calls and Webex meetings with clients.

Analytical consultancy duties:

  • Perform in depth schedule analysis and provide recommendations to the client as required.
  • Provide delay mitigation measures and recommended corrective actions to advance schedules whenever required.

Freelance BIM Modeler

At HSE Contractors, we are always accepting applications for upcoming projects from qualified candidates. Your application, qualifications, relevance of scheduling expertise, and location will be evaluated as the position you are applying for becomes available at any of our office locations.

General Requirements:

  • MEP Engineer background preferred.
  • Excellent understanding of BIM procedures, strategies, and workflow.
  • Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD family is a must.
  • Experience with Bentley, Navis works or Synchro or any other competitive software would be a plus.
  • On-site construction experience would be desirable
  • Strong written, verbal communication in English is essential.
  • Proven experience in priority setting, multitasking, and working with minimal direct supervision.
  • Has experience in the same position for at least 5 years, and a work track record in reputable companies.
  • Has good experience in different types of projects such as mechanical facilities, hotels, office buildings, shopping malls, etc.
  • Experience in large scale and complex projects is desirable.

Essential Duties:

  • Create 3D BIM Models.
  • Coordinate all aspects for the model (Architectural, Civil, MEP).
  • Update the BIM model in a biweekly or monthly basis.
  • Collaborate with the scheduling department to build and maintain the 4D BIM model.
  • Perform clash detection and resolve all clashes.
  • Manage and coordinate external 3D presentations to the client.

HSE has an immediate opening for a position in the project controls department in Houston, TX , the position requires an experienced full time planner who not only understands how to use P6 but also has health care construction experience and can make sense out of drwgs in order to be able to create a baseline schedule and lead schedule meetings in front of ownership.

We are willing to offer relocation package; if needed.
