The project scope was to construct two hangars on the west side and a terminal on the east side of one of the busiest airports in the country. The owner is the world’s largest private jet fixed base operation company. The project had some serious environmental settlement issues with the New York and New Jersey airport authorities due to contamination issues. The general contractor’s contract was terminated halfway through the project and another GC was brought on board, which required new durations and sequences in order to finish the work on time.
