Project Overview:

HSE was responsible for creating a delay analysis for the road construction project due to PNG (piped natural gas) relocation. I-74 is a congressionally mandated interstate that is routed along US 52 from Mount Airy to Bethania. In Bethania, I-74 is routed along the Eastern section of the Winston-Salem Northern Beltway. In order to accomplish routing I-74 along the WSNB, the interchange at US 52 (R-2247EB) had to be reviewed so that the thorough move from US 52 goes to the Eastern Section of the WSNB (U-2579).
