John F. Kennedy International Airport also referred to as JFK; it’s located in Jamaica, Queens, in the south-eastern portion of New York City, is the 16th busiest airport in the world, the 5th busiest airport in the United States, and the busiest airport in the system. The airport features six passenger terminals and four runways. It serves as a hub for American Airlines and Delta Air Lines. It is also the primary operating base for JetBlue Airways. The work in the project included installation to a backflow prevention devices and water meter upgrades to phase IV. HSE was responsible for creating a detailed baseline schedule for the project including cost and resource loading on all construction activities. HSE was successful in obtaining approvals on all of the scheduling submittals without any delays to the contractor. The project is currently on time.
