The scope of work in this project included construction of a new high-rise building in Champaign, Illinois. Catalyst was awarded the project after the second floor was already poured. All of the typical building subcontractor work had to be coordinated in a comprehensive baseline schedule. Some of the main concerns in the scheduling effort included, but were not limited to, delivery time of the elevators, ensuring that concrete work was progressing, and jumping the elevators after reaching the eighth floor. Catalyst also provided a cost-loaded schedule with a projected cash flow curve, which our client needed in order to obtain funding from the bank.
