2nd Ave Subway Construction

The construction project is to prepare the site to provide access for the subsequent cavern and finishes work on the 86th Street Station. The scope of work included relocation of existing utilities, constructing new utilities such as electrical, gas, sewer and water, including main lines and house connections, installing decking and temporary support system to restore roadway traffic , excavating soil to top of rock for future station entrances, excavating rock to provide working space for subsequent contracts.
